
SST Training
SST (First aid at work) training is specially designed for the workplace.
It enables participants to acquire the first aid skills they need to react in the event of an accident in the workplace to react in the event of an accident in the workplace, while at the same time prevention of occupational risks.
This training meets a legal obligation in certain high-risk sectors, where employers must ensure that at least one employee is trained to trained to intervene in an emergency.

The SST certificate is valid for 2 years extension is conditional on completion of a MAC SST course every 24 months

Learning objectives
On completion of the course, participants will be able to :
▪ Intervene effectively in the event of an accident at work
▪ Apply preventive measures to avoid occupational risks.
▪ Carry out first aid procedures in an emergency, such as haemorrhaging, choking, fractures, and discomfort.
▪ Alert emergency services and monitor victims awaiting treatment.

Program
1. Protect: identify real or supposed dangers in the workplace, ensure the protection of the victim and witnesses.
2. Examine: identify the victim's vital signs, recognise symptoms of distress
3. Alert: know who to alert according to the situation, and how to transmit the necessary information concisely and clearly.
4. Rescue: perform first aid to treat haemorrhage, cardiac arrest, wounds, burns, fractures, discomfort, etc.
